Congratulations to Le Cordon Bleu Sydney Alumni

Congratulations to Le Cordon Bleu Australia Alumni Cobi Reithmuller, who is the Queensland Finalist leader for the Nestlé Golden Chefs Hat Award.

Cobi completed her Grande Diplôme at Sydney's North Ryde campus in 2008 and has since forged a successful career as a chef. Currently working at The Walnut Restaurant at The Royal on the Park in Brisbane Cobi is yet another of Le Cordon Bleu's success stories and in this year's competition was partnered by Matthew Clark, her assistant.

The Nestlé Golden Chefs Hat Award is dedicated to helping junior and apprentice chefs develop their cooking skills and broaden their culinary horizons and is the longest running culinary competition in Australia that offers young chefs the chance to really find out where they are as a chef, by pitting themselves against their peers and benchmarking their cooking skills.

Taking part in the Nestlé Golden Chefs Hat Award provides young chefs with the added opportunity of being mentored by culinary instructors and given access to a national network of professional chefs.

This year the national winning team will be awarded an amazing opportunity to learn from the best and carry out work experience at world--renowned, three Michelin--starred London restaurant, The Waterside Inn.
